Avon Park Depot Museum  This Depot’s main function is to serve as a historical museum for Avon Park and the surrounding area. It features a number of ever-growing exhibits telling the stories of Avon Park. The museum also features a research room complete with a microfilm reader/printer for viewings yesterday’s Avon Park newspapers. A former railroad dining car sits adjacent to the museum. Bok Tower Gardens  The 128-acre Bok Tower Gardens are truly a peaceful, historic attraction and one of the world's greatest carillons. It all started in 1928, when Dutch immigrant Edward Bok, wanted to make America "a bit more beautiful" so he built this 20-foot singing tower which sets off a daily serenade at 3:00 p.m. daily. The gardens are open everyday from 8am-5pm, and the visitor center is open from 9am-5pm. General admission tickets are good for one day only and do not

Sun 'n Fun Fly-In  One of the largest aviation tradeshow/conventions in the world with
more than 500 commercial exhibitors showcasing the newest products in

The Lakeland Center  The Lakeland Center is an 8,178-seat, multi purpose arena in Lakeland, Florida. It is home to the "Lakeland Thunderbolts"(indoor football team).
